Dangerous Goods
Dangerous goods are articles or substances, capable of posing a risk to health, safety, property or the environment when transported by air, and classified according to Section 3 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
These characteristics will make their transport by air hazardous unless suitable precautions are taken. The commodities include the goods that are not only apparent substances such as acids, radioactive materials, poisons and explosives, but also some unlikely items such as magnets, wheelchairs with batteries, bleaches, breathing apparatus, some pesticides, etc.
Flight Crew, Technicians, Check-in Personnel and Ground Crew.
This course in dangerous goods is accredited by the SA CAA and complies with EU-OPS 1 subpart R, ICAO-TI, and IATA-DGR.
